ABOUT ME
I began writing short stories and poetry when I was about ten years old. In high school, I went through an introspective phase and cranked out page after page of melodramatic poetry, most of which was way too cheesy to ever see the light of day. After getting married and starting a family, I heard about Nanowrimo--National Novel Writing Month--where I was encouraged to write an entire novel in the month of November. The year was 2013, and my family didn't eat or have clean clothes for that entire month while I barricaded myself in my room with my laptop and a notebook.
Several months after writing Gershom and Jasmine, I wrote several devotional books for my son, and every November since, I have written (or started writing) a new novel. Throughout the year, I work on different stories I've started. I'm hoping to finish and publish a novel, book of short stories, or devotional every spring for the next several years.
In 2018, I started editing for some friends and family. I got amazing feedback, so I kept offering my editing services to others. After a year of editing, I realized just how much purpose it gave to me--being able to go hand-in-hand with another author, take what they had written, and truly make it shine for the world. In early 2020, I got my first paid editing job and established EnchantedInkwell.com where I bring passion and knowledge to each manuscript I handle. At the end of every job, I feel honored to have been a part in changing the world.
